Tomorrow morning my husband I will be waking our little possums (now aged 7 and 9) up at 4am to drag them out to a cold, drizzly (most likely) hill to indulge a spot of morris dancing as the sun rises behind the clouds. I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a certain satisfaction in waking them up in the middle of the night…. it makes a nice change for it to be this way round!
Yes oh blog followers, I am a morris dancer with the marvellous Rag Morris of Bristol! For any of you who are in the Bristol area we will be dancing at various locations around Bristol city centre during the day tomorrow; so if you see some strange people dressed in coloured rags prancing about and making a racket, one of them is probably me….
